Following the exhibition 'Design of the Third Reich' in the Design Museum Den Bosch, the Dutch branch of the International Council on Monuments and Sites, ICOMOS Netherlands, organized two lectures about the exhibition topic.

Prof. Rob van der Laarse, who holds the interuniversity Westerbork chair in War and Conflict Heritage at VU University and the University of Amsterdam and is acadmic staff member of the Amsterdam School for Heritage, Memory and Material Culture (AHM), will present the lecure 'Nazi design and the fatal attraction of Hitler's taste'.
Prof. Timo de Rijk, director of the Design Museum Den Bosch, will tell in his lecture 'Design of the Third Reich' why the exhibition is relevant in our times and which dilemma's he came across during the compilation.
ICOMOS is an international non-governmental organisation of heritage professionals engaged in the conservation of places of cultural value and dedicated to the conservation of the world's historic monuments and sites. ICOMOS was founded in 1965 following the adoption of the International Charter for the Conservation and Restoration of Monuments and Sites – generally referred to as The Venice Charter (1964).
