Eddy Grootes (1936), emeritus professor Historical Dutch Literature, has passed away on 5 February 2020. Eddy Grootes was the first director of the Institute of Culture and History (ICG), the predecessor institution of ASH. Jeroen Jansen, one of his PhD researchers in the 90s, has written an in memoriam (in Dutch).
