ASH research fund

ASH offers (small) grants to its members and groups for organising research activities, such as workshops, conferences, seminars and public lectures.

Applications are considered by the Director and are based on formal guidelines to allocate the funding in a clear and transparent way. Conditions for funding are that researchers also seek external (i.e. non-ASH) co-funding and that requests make clear which concrete results can be expected from the activity. These predicted results can take the form of, for example, publications, new collaborations (external partners, co-financers of future research) or research grant proposals.

Faculty of Humanities research fund

For all directly funded ('eerste geldstroom') faculty members with a research position, funding is available to support their individual research.

The Faculty Research Fund covers the costs of conference visits, research trips, and publication expenses. The maximum amount of research expenses to be reimbursed per researcher is € 1,500.
