    Emma Post is a PhD candidate at the Department of History at the University of Amsterdam. She specialises in gender, the League of Nations and the interwar period. Her NWO-funded research project ‘A League of their own’ focusses on eight women who served as diplomats in the League of Nations. Using a group biography, she researches their work in the fight against sex trafficking, and their group dynamics. Her project is supervised by prof. dr. Elizabeth Buettner and dr. Katy Hull.

    Emma Post studied History and Religious Studies at the University of Amsterdam. She completed the Research Master in History and the European Studies Master Identity and Integration at the UvA, as well as the Master European History and Civilisation at Leiden University. She is a member of the Huizinga Institute (https://www.huizingainstituut.nl/people/emma-post-ma/) and the Modern History Research Group of the UvA (https://ash.uva.nl/content/research-groups/modern-history/modern-history.html).
