Rosa de Jong, PhD candidate at ASH, has been awarded the competitive Alexander Grass Memorial Fellowship for her project “From European Ports to Caribbean Homes: Second World War Refugees in Global Transit”. She will spend eight consecutive months from January 2022 onwards in the archives at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies, located in the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC.
